De Klepperstee considers the health and safety of its guests and staff to be of paramount importance.

For the benefit of the health its guests, the water on premises of the De Klepperstee is controlled regularly for the presence of the legionella bacteria. In addition, all our employees have a first aid diploma and can assist in case of minor accidents. Their knowledge is regularly maintained and refreshed by means of mandatory and official courses.

Important: de Klepperstee has 3 AED devices at it disposal and all the permanent staff members know how to operate them. These devices can ensure adequate help in case of a sudden cardiac arrest. In case of an emergency, notify the reception immediately!

Managing environmental burdens and confining environmental risks are the primary responsibility of management as well as of every employee of De Klepperstee. Within the environmental policy declaration, all employees are obliged to carry out their tasks in compliance with the procedures determined for this purpose and the related policy of the company, and to consider this a self-evident manner of practice. As a consequence of this policy our company aims at minimising the production of waste and limiting its adverse impact on air, water and soil by means of an effective environmental care system.

It should be clear that we also expect our guests to maintain an environment-friendly attitude and any form of polluting – from the ‘simple’ act of littering to disregarding planted areas – will not be tolerated. Although we assume that it won’t be necessary to reproach our guests, our employees will not hesitate to comment on any environment-unfriendly behaviour.
