  • When will I receive extra information about arrival etc.?

You will receive the final information about your stay at Ridderstee Ouddorp Duin via email a few days before arrival. If you have any questions about your booking and/or stay at the park before that, you can always call or email us.

  • Can I park my car at the camping pitch or rental accommodation?

Camping
Parking at the camping pitch itself is not allowed. However, loading and unloading at the pitch on the day of checking in or out is possible.  One vehicle per booking is allowed at the central parking lot of the campsite (P6).

Rental accommodation
One parking spot per booking is available near each rental accommodation. Please note: some accommodations are only accessible on foot.

Guests and visitors
There are two general parking lots at the holiday park (P1 and P2). There are also possibilities for charging electric cars as well as short-term parking for checking in and out at parking lot P1 at reception.

  • Are the facilities at the park accessible for non-guests as well?

The reception desk, bistro, indoor (play)ground and the play field are freely accessible for everyone.

  • Is lighting fireworks allowed on New Year's Eve?

Lighting fireworks during New Year's Eve at the park itself is not allowed. Lighting fireworks during other periods of the year is prohibited anyway.

  • Can I have a BBQ at my pitch or accommodation?

Using a BBQ (including your own) is allowed as long as it does not result in any trouble or nuisance. Lighting an open fire is not allowed. Don't put the BBQ on the wooden deck, but rather in the sand at the accommodation.

Camping

  • How big are the camping pitches?

All pitches are approximately 100 m². The pitches on the camper field are suitable for campers up to 8.5 meters in length. The Drive-In Camper Park is exceptionally suitable for larger campers.  We ask all guests to use breathable ground sheets.

  • Which camping pitch is intended for whom?

Only campers and no side tents are allowed on the camper field and the Drive-In Camper park. A canopy is allowed. The camping fields are for tents, pop-up campers and caravans. The Green Field is only meant for tents and bus campers (of up to six meters), for instance a Volkswagen T2.

  • How do things work at the Green Field exactly?

As a guest on the Green Field, you choose between the front, center or rear part while booking. This can be seen on the map as well. After booking pitch, you will get to choose a pitch within your part yourself upon arrival.

  • How many amperes are available?

16-ampere electricity is available at our camping pitches on Klepperstee and the Drive-In Camper Park.

  • Where can I get clean (drinking) water?

There are various central tap points spread out across the campsite. In addition, you can go to one of the three toilet buildings.

  • Why do you no longer have WiFi at the campsite?

Going on holiday means going offline for a while and to enjoy everything around you as well as each other. However, free WiFi is available at the large sanitary building and in the central area of De Klepperstee.

  • Can I bring the dog?

Our parks allow pets as long as they are on a leash. A surcharge applies to a stay with a dog, and up to two dogs are allowed. No pets are allowed in the indoor playground/yard and in the swimming pond.

  • With how many persons can I come camping?

A maximum of six persons is allowed at a camping pitch.

  • How much will I pay for a camping pitch?

Depending on your preference, a stay in 2023 costs between €25 and €49 per night (excluding tourist tax and any applicable surcharges).  By clicking certain data in the reservation module, the price for the selected period and its associated costs will be displayed.

  • How can I see which camping pitches are available?

While booking a camping pitch, you will get the opportunity to indicate a preference (free of charge) for a specific spot at the campsite.

Due to the renovation of the campsite during the winter of 2022/2023, it's possible that the booked pitch is not ready on time because of slower grass growth than expected. We reserve the right to offer an alternative pitch in this special situation.

Rental accommodations

  • Can I bring a dog?

There are some rental accommodations at Klepperstee that allow pets. This is clearly indicated at the accommodations themselves.  No pets are allowed in the indoor playground/yard and in the swimming pond.

  • Which facilities does my rental accommodation have?

Our rental accommodations are furnished in very different ways. You can read about the exact differences and view the photos per accommodation on the website. You can always contact us in case of specific questions or requests.

  • Does my rental accommodation not have a television?

That's right! We made the conscious decision not to install a television in our rental accommodations. After all, there is so much beauty to see outside!  It goes without saying that watching television is still possible using your tablet or mobile phone thanks to the private WiFisignal at every rental accommodation.

  • How much will I pay exactly for a rental accommodation?

We work with flexible arrival and departure days and prices per night. The prices per period are clearly visible in our reservation module.  A stay at a rental accommodation at Klepperstee consists of at least three nights.

  • Are there any 'hidden' costs? And what are the extra costs?

There is a fixed price for a rental accommodation, independent of the number or persons.  The price is composed of accommodation costs and costs for final cleaning, bed linen and a towel package. Tourism tax and any surcharges are added to this price.

  • What is included in the bed and bath linen?

Each booking at a rental accommodation includes bath and bed linen. One package per person consists of a cover for the duvet, mattress and pillow + a large towel and a small one. The packages will be ready on the beds, based on the number of indicated guests (excluding babies).  The children's bed does not include any (children's) bed linen.

  • Can I carry out the final cleaning myself?

No, purchase of the final cleaning is mandatory. When you leave, we kindly ask you to deposit the household waste at the recycling station, take the bed linen off the beds and collect it in a single place along with the towels, as well as to leave the accommodation swept clean.

Bookings

  • How do I make a booking?

You can check the availability and price of a rental accommodation or camping pitch via the booking module. After filling out your personal details you can make a booking definitive and make a (pre)payment.

  • Is there a minimum age for a booking?

To make a booking, the main booker must be at least 21 years of age and be present during the entire stay period. Youths traveling alone, (student) societies and/or groups of a similar kind are not allowed either. The stay must be of a recreational nature: business reservations are not allowed. When in doubt, please contact us. We reserve the right to decline bookings.

  • How much will I pay in tourist taxes?

The rate is €1.50 per person per night. Inhabitants of the municipality of Goeree-Overflakkee don't pay any tourist taxes when staying at the park.

  • Will I have to pay extra for my baby?

Children up to two years of age are free. There is no separate reduced rate for children two years of age or up.

  • Where can I read the terms and conditions?

When making a booking, you must agree to the terms and conditions. You can read these and other conditions under the header 'colophon'. We work with dynamic night rates, which means our rental prices can change at any time.
